Massachusetts General Hospital | Lunder Building

Boston, MA

Project

The Lunder building is the newest addition to the Massachusetts General Hospital campus, and until the naming gift from the Lunder Foundation, was aptly known as MGH's Building for the Third Century. Widely acknowledged as state-of-the-art in oncology and sterile processing facilities, the 10-story building also includes a new emergency department, 150 new beds for intensive and acute care, interventional imaging and surgery. The project used BIM (Building Information Modeling) extensively throughout design and construction. Leggat McCall Properties provided comprehensive project planning and management throughout.
