Memorial Hall was erected in honor of Harvard graduates who fought for the Union in the American Civil War. The collection of stained glass in Memorial Hall, installed between 1879 and 1902, comprises a veritable museum of American stained glass.

Renovations to Loker Commons, in Harvard University’s historic Memorial Hall, included the addition of late-night dining options and expanded special functions space. The building, which also houses administrative offices and the renowned Sanders Theatre, remained fully operational and occupied during the construction.
