Brandeis University - Shapiro Academic Center

Waltham, MA

Project

The Abraham Shapiro Academic Complex at Brandeis University took a 40-year-old cast-in-place document storage facility and turned it into an active academic center, housing several key campus programs. Substantial saw-cutting of the concrete structure allowed for natural light into the previously solid-mass facility. Complete new MEP systems were installed as part of the building transformation.
