Vertex Pharmaceuticals

Boston, MA

Project

As the new world headquarters for Vertex Pharmaceuticals, this project, developed by the Fallon Company, is composed of two separate buildings built as part of the Fan Pier Development in the burgeoning Seaport District of Boston. Though the core and shell has two architects, Elkus Manfredi & Tsoi Kobus, the tenant fit-out is designed by Elkus Manfredi. The project is using BIM Modeling to design and visualize the complex MEP systems. The project will house both the research and office needs of Vertex Pharmaceuticals' Cambridge operations and will provide state-of-the-art lab facilities, including a Vivarium, for its drug discovery programs.
